Amber was born to a muggle mother, by the name of Liz Barrington. The two always made ends meet over the years. They never had much in way of possessions. Yet they had each other and that is what counted. Her father was never with them. Amber was told he had to work far away to save up money to send to them. The girl never had any reason to doubt her mother, so she took this as fact.

In her tenth year of life, Fate has dealt her a hand. Her mother having gotten very ill suddenly, is no longer here to take care of her. A friend is taking her to a father she has only heard of and never met. Amber's small world is going to suddenly turn upside down and the girl is helpless to stop it.

So where is Amber now you ask? At the end of her summer, with September 1st looming over her. She has gotten her letter to Hogwarts and has her supplies. The next phase of the adventure is about to begin.
